Made Here

Preparing this newsletter in a reflective mood after spending the past weekend in lockdown here in Victoria and following #AustralianMadeWeek this month's newsletter is dedicated to our local manufacturers and artisans who support us in everything we do.

Thanks for your incredible support and friendship! We could not do it without you!

Local manufacturing has, is and always will be at the core of our business. It is our job to school our clients in our philosophy of the skills required, detailed processes and time involved in making each one of our highly crafted pieces and why it gives such a sense of ownership that lasts a lifetime.

Running from Monday 24 May to 30 May 2021, Australian Made Week, celebrates local makers and growers around the country. We value our partnerships with highly skilled local fabricators and artisans all located here in Melbourne. Supporting Australian made is about generating knowledge and skills generating income for the national economy, creating jobs, businesses and industries.

METAL SPINNING

Construction and manufacturing are amongst a very small number of industries that keep working around the clock whilst the majority of us are back in lockdown. Goes to show their importance and crucial role in literally building our nation. Now more than ever we understand the need to support locally made and despite the challenging times celebrate Australian made.

Whilst we are a small studio, the greater team involves a network of highly skilled local manufacturers from all over Victoria including Lilydale, Moorabbin, Dandenong or a few doors down in St Kilda. They are sole proprietors, mid-size or family run businesses, in some cases generational. They are highly skilled craftsmen/ women, repositories of knowledge, problem solvers and talented communicators picking up the phone every-time or making time for a face to face chat to resolve our client's requests.
